Alcohol
Alcohol is still the most commonly used drug by Jones County youth. According to the 2021 Jones County Iowa Youth Survey, 15% of 11th grade students report using any amount of alcohol in the past 30 days and 8% report binge drinking (defined as 4 (female) or 5 (male) drinks in a row within a couple hours).
