Coalition 2025 5K Run Walk “Be Courageous” What’s Your Natural High?
The Jones County Safe and Healthy Youth Coalition is hosting its 7th annual “What’s Your Natural High? 5K Run/Walk” on Saturday, June 21, race/walk starting at 8 a.m. at Camp Courageous this year, starting at the Lake Todd and Durgin Pavilion area, 12101 190th Street, Monticello, Iowa
This year we will be having a timing company, B & W Racing Services LLC. We will be handing out trophies to our overall male and female champion and medals to age group leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to run or walk through the beautiful Camp Courageous area while supporting the Coalition’s efforts to promote mental wellness and reduce and prevent youth substance use.
Please register by May 23, to guarantee your awesome soft t-shirt in the right size. You can also register on-site the day of the event between 7-7:45 a.m. Or pick up your packet the day before at the Coalition office at 110 S. Williams St. in Anamosa between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost is $25. Kids in strollers are free. All proceeds go straight to the Coalition thanks to our amazing sponsors! The 5K Run/Walk highlights safe and natural highs with the theme this year, “Be Courageous!” The goal is to enjoy life and nature, fresh air, healthy exercise, and gather with friends and family whether camping, fishing or enjoying a walk or run. The Coalition is putting more and more emphasis on promoting mental wellness and this event is part of that.
