This will be a great night and with this topic on voting ballots in several states across the nation a month later, it’s timely. Monte Stiles is from Idaho and is a popular national speaker -- very informational and inspirational at the same time. And we will be celebrating some awesome Community Leaders after Monte’s presentation! See you at the Monticello High School Auditorium. FLYER HERE If you are busy that evening, there is another opportunity that morning to learn from Monte Stiles in Anamosa at the Lawrence Community Center as he trains our coalition on marijuana prevention strategies from 9-11 a.m. Just call 462-5030 if you will be coming in the morning as there is limited seating.
Welcome to the Jones County Safe and Healthy Youth Coalition website. We invite you to visit this website often for updates about information such as meetings, upcoming events, new trends, laws, drug and alcohol use prevention, campaigns, goals and community resources, etc. See our Annual Report and Coalition Case Statement to see how the work the Coalition is doing is making a difference for our youth. You can also see our Sustainability Plan Summary to see our steps to sustain our efforts financially for years to come.
We rely on your support of your youth and community - they will need and want your encouragement and support. You are key to their growth and success during the many demands and challenges they face during their teen years.
We take our responsibility very seriously. We are a group of local residents who have come together for a common goal-- the safety and well being of our communities and children.
If you cannot find the information you need on our website, please click on the "Contact Us" tab above and we will do our best to help you.
Thank you and visit often, Michael Elmore, JCSHY Coalition President
